The One Sheet Skiff is a simple row-boat built from a single sheet of standard hardware shop plywood. The original designer was Herb McLeod, who has a page dedicated to the boat here...

I wish now I had taken more photos during the construction phase... but it took so little time to go from a flat sheet to a boat I clean forgot in my excitement :-)
The One Sheet Skiff...
In the beginning... a single sheet of 8 * 4 ply
Two afternoons later...
All simple straight line sawing, but it looks like a proper boat!
Yep, we’ve got a boat going on now :-)
The bottom ready to go on...
Very few screws used, but lots of glue...
‘Ocky’ straps hold the clamps together as the glue sets
The oars took 3 times as long to make as the boat!
They are made from Hoop Pine which was easy to work.
Simple and light...
A few gussets help add rigidity

Same for the breast hook
All done
and...
Ready for the launch!
